Are you still looking for a unique spot to organize your next meeting, teambuilding or executive training, and this at only 4-5 hours from Brussels?
What about BORDEAUX !?
It will surely become one of 2018’s hot spots thanks to its unique Wine Museum and Library ‘Cité du Vin’ which displays 9.752 bottles from over 88 countries. No other country is so in tune with wine as France!
Destination Unlimited would like to share with you one of the hidden gems. On the left bank of the river Bordeaux, 50 km from the city bearing the same name, you will find the charming town of Pauillac. Situated in the region of Castles, Château La Haye is one of the eldest and home to the King of Grapes, the Cabernet Sauvignon.
What originally served as romantic getaway for Diane de Poitiers and King Henry II, belongs since 2012 to Chris Cardon, one of three Belgian who own vineyards in Saint Estephe. With his love for this royal grape, he makes one of the most delicious wines! Mmmmm…
Of course, and as the saying goes, an image is worth more than a thousand words, we would like to share this video with you, as first glance on this beautiful property of our dear friend Chris.
Wouldn’t you just love to taste this wine at the Château La Haye itself?
