Nepal and Camp Hope

In March 2017, Destination Unlimited visited CAMP HOPE, a temporary shelter housing 332 villagers from Sindhupalchowk, one of Nepal's most devastated regions after the earthquake of 25 April 2015.

Since then, 60 children and their families are being taken care of by the Dwarika's foundation in Kathmandu, where they can go to Samata school. Destination Unlimited and the President’s Club donated 60 matrasses, bedlinen and cushions, so all children are able to sleep in a comfortable situation in their new hostel, after spending almost two years in their camp of hope…
